Overcoming Insomnia

Can you relate to the following questions?
How can I fall asleep quickly or fall back asleep after waking up in the middle of the night?
After so many attempts to decrease symptoms of insomnia, with minimal progress, what else can I do?
What effective and reputable alternatives to medication are available to help with insomnia?
How can I make bedtime something that I look forward to instead of dread?
Decreasing Symptoms of Insomnia
Having personally experienced symptoms of insomnia, I’m prepared to assist you in evaluating what seems to be getting in the way of a better night’s sleep and implementing a personalized approach to enhancing sleep quality in a holistic way.
In collaboration, we can make potential adjustments to variables such as:
-Shifting your thoughts and emotions relating to sleep
-Practicing relaxation techniques designed to promote both falling and staying asleep
-Evaluating your sleep need and temporarily adjusting how long you are in bed
These interventions are largely informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a highly researched and clinically validated approach for helping individuals to experience a decrease in insomnia symptoms.
I look forward to supporting you in your quest for improved quality of sleep thus, enhancing your daytime experience as well.
